Iced Cocoa Too!

We have since introduced an Iced Cocoa as well as well as some other options for your icey chocolate drinks.
The Iced Chocolate as stated above uses the same chocolate we have on rotation for the hot chocolates. The Iced Cocoa contains no chocolate but pure cocoa powder from Michel Cluizel, for those who care it contains 21-22% cocoa butter. It's a really nice cocoa powder. It's liquid vehicle again is coconut milk which we slightly dilute with water. It delivers a refreshment that I don't get with cold milk on a hot summer's day without sacrificing the creamy mouthfeel of dairy. And, in my opinion it tastes better than soy milk as a dairy alternative. It also let's the chocolate shine through in a kind of tropical duet. We have been drinking it unsweetened which is how it is served and can be thought of as a type of Cocoa Coconut Tonic or Tea in that it gives you the revitalizing benefits from pure cocoa and coconut with out any sugar. Drinkers of black coffee and unsweetened tea drinkers might like this one. You, of course are welcome to sweeten with Simple Syrup if you like.
I just want to thank Scott and Rochelle Hagnas of Crossfit Portland for turning me onto coconut milk....and sunflower seeds for that matter. So, Thank You!
